General description:
Gmsa (georgia), Emsa-Tbilisi and the Student Self Goverment of Tbilisi State Medical University made a project in Tbilisi State Medical University.
We made:
Hiv test screening for medical students.
Presentation about latest news of this item.
Presentation of video about hiv (“You can’t get AIDS from a hug”) which was shoot by us.
The aim of the project was
Removing stigmatization and empowering people living with HIV
Raising awareness among the students of medical university.
Focus area:
Prevention of all STIs or are specific STIs, STI testing, Removing stigmatization and empowering people living with HIV, Raising awareness among the general public about STIs
Problem statement:
HIV-related stigma and discrimination refers to prejudice, negative attitudes and abuse directed at people living with HIV and AIDS.
Target groups and beneficiaries:
Students of the Tbilisi State Medical University – Future doctors.
Objectives and indicators of success:
Prevention of AIDS,
Removing stigmatization and empowering people living with HIV
Raising awareness among the students of medical university.
