General description:
From Change.org (2021), 40% of respondents had thoughts of self-harm and suicide. 76.2% had never done a health consultation through an application. UNITED aims to increase knowledge and awareness regarding e-health to prevent mental health self-diagnosis. UNITED was held offline and online from 27th August-8th September 2022, consisting of training, a talk show, poster competitions, and social media campaigns. We evaluated using a pretest-posttest, attendance form, and online questionnaires.
Problem statement:
In a survey by Change.org (2021), 40% had thoughts of self-harm and suicide. It is a worrying condition. Advances in technology have made it easier for people to find various information and leading to self-diagnosis. From our assessment, 76.2% of respondents had never done a health consultation through an application. 71.4% of respondents already know how to do health consultations online. It shows that people prefer to find out independently rather than consulting professionals.

Conducting an offline pre-activity training for the SCOPH and SCOME members on 27th August 2022
Conducting a social media campaign regarding stopping self-diagnose and digital healthcare on 5th – 8th September 2022
Conducting an offline talk show on 4th September 2022 titled Understanding Digital Healthcare to Prevent Mental Health Self-Diagnosis
Conducting a poster competition for the participant starting from 27th August and a presentation on 4th September 2022 so they could share the materials with others.
Increasing 15% of participants’ knowledge as measured from the pretest and posttest through the Google form on training and talk shows.
Preparing to carry out advocacy and evaluation about the student’s mental health in the university to stakeholders by the end of the activity.
Indicators:
Get a total average score of at least 7 on a scale of 1-10, filled in by speakers from external parties, including PHL and TNT region 6, who participated in the activity.
The OC’s presence in the implementation of the event is 70% measured by attendance.
The training is attended by a minimum of 20 SCOME and SCOPH members.
The talk show is attended by a minimum of 30 general participants as measured by attendance form
The Public Poster Competition is followed by at least 5 pairs
Infographics uploaded on Instagram CIMSA FK UNS get at least 50 likes.
The winning poster published on Instagram CIMSA FK UNS gets at least 50 likes.
15% increase in understanding of general student participants and members of CIMSA FK UNS as measured from the pretest and posttest during the event through the google form
Successfully carried out the advocacy to the stakeholder
Methodology:
UNITED is a collaborative activity of SCOME x SCOPH CIMSA FK UNS. The activity began with offline pre-activity training on 27th August by PHL and Region 6 Trainers to members with the topic Mental Health and Self-Diagnoses and How to Educate with Social Media. The offline talk show and poster competition presentation were the highlight event on 4th September. The talk show entitled “Understanding Digital Healthcare to Prevent Mental Health Self-Diagnosis” was delivered by Pijar Psychology and CIMSA FK UNS Alumni. Continued with a presentation by the 3 Public Poster Competition finalist teams and ended with awarding the winners. We have Pertamina as our sponsor. UNITED was closed with a social media campaign on 5th-8th September through Instagram stories. An infographic was also uploaded on Instagram CIMSA FK UNS to increase public awareness regarding digital health and mental health. The importance of maintaining mental health, especially for new students, will be advocated.
Plans for evaluation:
Evaluation Method: Pretest and posttest, online questionnaires for participants and external parties, as well as committee attendance forms.
Follow-up method: Questionnaires in the form of Google forms for training participants and talk shows on D+7 days after the activity was carried out
