Problem statement:
A shortage of blood in our country for procedures 1.1 million units according to data by the Mof Health and Family Welfare. 1 in 20,000 chance of a marrow donor due to The lack of awareness and preconceived notions surrounding marrow donation.
Target groups and beneficiaries:
Relatives of hospital patients/ office workers etc.

Objectives and indicators of success:
a. Assessment of prevailing knowledge, attitude and practices in the current population regarding blood and marrow donation
b. Raise awareness and compliance in terms of blood and marrow donation especially those between age groups of 18-60
c. Improving and aiding medical training and knowledge of medical student volunteers.

b. 50% participants agree to donate blood thrice a year
c. 50% Pledge to enter the marrow registry
Methodology:
The goal of the project is to raise awareness regarding the importance of always having a blood reserve in hospitals as well as importance of marrow donation. As well as to increase the number of constant and new blood and marrow donors in our country.The project was designed by the national team, creative resources approved by the PR team and volunteers all across the nation we’re/ will be instructed and taught the basics of activity management as well as the core essentials of conducting any activity.
Plans for evaluation:
Following which they would submit a detailed pre-event form and post event form for further impact assessment. during the activity they would be required to conduct a KAP study of the donors prior and after the delivery of the session to assess the impact. the data collected would be then evaluated by the national team.
