Problem statement:
The UDHR is a milestone document in the history of human rights. The Declaration was proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in Paris on 10 December 1948.
In Bangladesh, still many people are in violation of human rights because they are poor, disabled, special child, transgender. In the winter season, the government has identified 296 upazilas where 90% people were most affected by cold-related diseases. From November 1 till December 1 at least 123,465 people afflicted were admitted.

Objectives:
To inform 200 members of this NMO about “”World human rights day””, international humanitarian law and human rights based approach through this campaign of 20 days.
To involve medical students of this NMO in humanitarian activities- raise funds to distribute winter clothings among 50 underprivileged patients in hospitals
To provide skillful training to atleast 5 transgender persons and give necessary equipment to atleast 5 disabled people
Indicators of Success:
Around 90% of the participants will have adequate knowledge about “”World human rights day” and its theme of this year through their active participation in this campaign
Around 90% of the participants will be able to raise funds and distribute winter clothings among 50 underprivileged patients in hospitals
Methodology:
We are going to execute our activity online through event page and social media platforms and also offline. Activity includes a campaign of 20 days.
Online activities will include-
Online video campaign- which will include rights and related issues of different groups of people – transgenders, disabled people, special children, health workers (will try to do inter NMO collaborations)
Offline activities will include-
Activity for the Rights of transgenders- providing for any skillful training of 5 transgenders in collaboration with transEnd/ Bandhu Social Welfare Society/ Volunteer for Bangladesh
Activity for the Rights of disabled people – providing any one equipment for a disabled person in collaboration with Disabled Rehabilitation and Research Association
Campaign- to include all LCs to raise fund or collect clothes and distribute among the underprivileged patients of their hospitals in collaboration with Bloodman
Plans for evaluation:
Pre and post evaluation forms will be provided to LOs before and after the campaign to assess their ideas and knowledge after the online poster campaign. Also Pictures and documentations from the offline activity
