General description:

This activity is a local activity that teach our new member how to do a basic check up and educate them about basic of two common disease

Focus area:

Simple check up (blood glucose level with GCU and blood pressure check) and teach a basic about diabetes and osteoporosis

Problem statement:

We bring osteoporosis and diabetes mellitus as the problem based on assessment. We also bring the training how to do simple medical check up because new member of CIMSA UNRI have not get that capability yet

Objectives and indicators of success:

-Our member can do a simple check up = They can do simple check up especially at SCOPH projects

-Know about diabetes and osteoporosis = All participant get a good score at pre and post test

Methodology:

First, we educate them about basic of common area disease, in this case Diabetes and Osteoporosis. We educate about basic clinical sign of these disease and how to tell and answer people that asking us about these disease as medical student. We also done pre and post test to know how well they understand this. Next, we create a Small Working Group, in which some of us give example to do basic check up and instruct the participant to do it. Of course we monitor and give them advice.

Plans for evaluation:

We monitor them as all of them check their friend. We used pre and post test to check their understanding
