The selection of targets is based on the assessment. The members distributed questionnaires to several schools close to the beach. The result shows that JHS 4 Padang is one of the schools in the red zone near the coast, the students’ knowledge of the disaster mitigation is very low, the absence of high facilities / shelters in the school area. In this project is divided into 4 series of main activities. That is, the first intervention of the scorpion members by one of the coaches BPBD, the second is training by member scorp to disaster response team SMPN 4, the third to make disaster mitigation system together disaster response team in small working group using metaplan, and last simulation disaster earthquake and tsunami . At the first intervention on Saturday, September 17, 2016, SCORP members were provided with disaster sciences by the Pembina BPBD West Sumatra. Furthermore, this science is used as a provision for Scorp Member as trainer to JHS 4 Padang on Saturday, October 1, 2016. The material given is the same, but in this second intervention, disaster response team is shown short videos how powerful the power of tsunami to destroy a city. Disaster response team is also taught how to set up family evacuation system. In the third intervention Saturday, October 15, 2016, down again become a trainer disaster response team JHS 4 Padang. The disaster response team is invited to discuss in a small group. Each group will be asked to return to repeat the material.
