Students’ Toolkit on Social Accountability in Medical SchoolsMedical students are the future of healthcare locally and globally. They should have a vested interest in receiving an education that will best prepare them to meet the future needs of the society in which they work. Social Accountability (SA) in medical education is becoming increasingly prominent in evaluating medical school performance and education quality. This toolkit aims to provide you with a brief introduction of what SA is, what its core principles are, and how you, as a student, can apply several of the existing tools for your own school to really make a difference.
The development of the Students’ Toolkit on Social Accountability of Medical Schools was a collaboration between the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA) and the Training for Health Equity Network (THEnet).
