General description:
The aim of SCOME schools is to promote understanding and development of Medical Educational systems all over the world, through the facilitation of exchanges where students will have an opportunity to travel, to be involved in medical education system by studying one month in university and hospital of this country.
Objectives:
* To provide to the medical students worldwide chances to learn different medical educational system
* To share and learn medical education on personal (self education) , local (University), national (country) and international (comparing with system of other countries) levels
* Analyzing minuses and pluses of effectiveness of medical educational systems
* To compare Medical Education in different countries
* To get new knowledge, experience, skills

Structure:
Student of each year can apply for participation in SCOME Exchange.
Host country provides School in SCOME active LCs with international faculty in the University (it’s very necessary to have English-speaking groups to haven’t problems with language barer) during one week (Like twinning project). There is a group (5-10 persons) of students that can take a part at one school.
Selection of the students is carried out according to the following criteria:
* Motivation letter
* Experience in the medical educational events
* SCOME experience
* IFMSA experience

Problem statement:
SCOME Mission includes sharing and learning about medical education in order to improve it as well as benefit the most from it on a personal and professional basis. Each system of medical education in different countries has a lot of positive and negative points. We can understand how to develop systems by traveling, teaching and sharing experience about medical education in other country.

Target groups and beneficiaries:
The target group is consist of students all over the world who involved in SCOME, who would like to know more about Medical Education, who wants to develop it, who wants to travel, to communicate with each other, collaborate and work together.

Methodology:
Student of each year can apply for participation in SCOME school.
Host country provides Exchange in SCOME active LCs with international faculty in the University (it’s very necessary to have English-speaking groups to haven’t problems with language barer) during one week (Like twinning project). There is a group (5-10 persons) of students that can take a part at one school.
LC of hosting country provides: -accommodation -social program -educational process -SCOME sessions – contact person
The educational program
Day 1. Let’s know about medical education in hosting country!
Group of incomings is going to excursion of University, hosting LC preparing report about medical education system in their country, incomings can attend some lectures/ seminars.
Day 2, 3. Clinical days. Teaching clinical medical education takes a place in the hospitals with tutors from different specialties.
Conferences
If during the exchange hosting University or Hospital going to organize events like conferences or congresses, it would be interesting for both sides to let incoming student take part in it.
Workshops
Local Committee can diversify exchange for incoming student and students from their University by workshops. It can be based on teaching medical skills, research, medical education.
Day 4. SCOME on TOPic. This is continue of Catarina’s idea but in real life! It includes discussion on different topics in brainstorming format.
Sessions should be organized by LOME/ LOME-assistant/ NOME/NOME-assistant. The form should be like at the sessions on GAs or regional meetings.
Working in the small working groups and discussing medical educational topics could realize
analyzing minuses and pluses of effectiveness of med. ed. systems, comparing medical education in different countries
The topics should be offered by local coordinators and agreed in advance with incoming student.
Day 5. Conclusion. Different Medical Education Systems. All students got knowledge about system in hosting country and their group mates. Now it’s a time to present the results in different forms about system of Medical Education in a country of each participant (they are already know what is specific in their University/country after 4 days of working) to make a International cooperation.
Day 6,7. Social Program. Time for communication.
