General description:
The project came after the issue that we face everyday which is the lack of understanding our medical education issues and the actions toward improving it. So many organization and authorities said that the voice of the students is the strongest among them all and they have the support of world federation on medical education, world health organization, association of medical students in Europe as well the international federation of medical student’s association. We will work toward better medical education, we will look for better quality and reach the excellence.
Our project will start with few steps as follow:
– A survey directed to medical students to assure we have a scientific proof on a real issue and to asses how much we need this camp.
– We will held multiple events.
– We will contact organization, medical schools to gain their support to set the ground as they are the main partner we are looking for working on this together.
– A 4-day conference that will have speakers panel, debates, workshops, small discussion groups where we want to come up with resolutions and actions.
– A post 3-day camp to relax the mind and join the souls after hardworking times.
– A follow up sheet with all universities and partners on future actions and partnership.

It focus on Student involvement in Decion making , being recognized as well among our faculties and government
Problem statement:

Target groups and beneficiaries:
Our Target Groups are mainly Medical students – to raise their knowledge and involvement and take their inputs.
our stakeholders – to have more collaboration and understanding which will improve our medical schools and give them assistance following up with the AMEE Aspire Criteria
Objectives and indicators of success:
– Address medical education issues to medical students and formulate actions toward improving it.
o Indicator1: Held 10 workshops among 5 universities to reach out to 25% of each university Students number
o Indicator 2: Have the visit and support from the deanship and the instructors
o Indicator 3: full Active participation of students in the Medical Education Camp survey and workshops 200 Students .
o Indicator 4: Survey Responses to reach more than 1000 so we have a strong argument.
Methodology:
Survey :
Establish contact with WFME, WHO, UN
– Present the importance and relevant benefits of this step
– Publicize about the survey on all levels and to all students.
– Collect response and handed it to the camp coordinators.
– Evaluate the survey beneficence before and after the camp.
– Present the outcomes of the survey in the camp.
Medical Education Camp :
This camp will be split up according to the following categories on 4 days
1. Does the quality of education matter? Day 1
2. Pre clinical teaching methods Day 2
3. Clinical teaching methods Day 3
4. Post graduate study Day 4
Methodology:
– Establish contact with WFME, WHO, UN, Medical schools
– Present the importance and relevant benefits of this step
– Publicize about the camp on all levels and to all students.
– Collect allies and sponsors.
– Start spreading the idea of the camp to all local committees .
– Gather the needed materials
– Contact of International speakers and participants
– Implement the camp
– Evaluate the impact of it
Plans for evaluation:
Survey results will include the the main issues before , present it during the Camp , see what issues we could have solved or formulated alongside our Faculties .
Number of students who took part in our workshops have attended the Camp
Post Camp Survey to see how their Assessment to their schools before and after changed.
Future Plans between students and deanship.
Feedback in every step to ensure the quality and relevance on top.
