Type of the activity: Capacity Building (Training or Workshop). Teaching and develop knowledge, skills and techniques in a particular field. While training can have any form, workshops are more formal and also include exchange of information between participants.
General description:
A two-day training that will bring together medical school students to introduce them to medical education topics and strengthen their knowledge in soft skills and personal development.
For ten to twelve hours, 20 medical students from different faculties in Tunisia and with heterogeneous background are gathered to discuss not only topics of medical education through this training which are Education, teaching, learning/ Curriculum design/ Meaningful student involvement/ and other topics, but also to assess soft skills training.
The training include 50% medical education topics and 50% soft skills.
This training has its own regulations whose ultimate goal is to institutionalize the training because there is no effective institutional memory to ensure for our participants a high quality training .

The lack of awarnes about the crucial role that should play medical students to develop medical education engenders engender the abandonment of their role .

Objectives and indicators of success:
*Our short term goal is to sensitize the students, recruit them. Then, involve them in the projects and other more advanced trainings where they can contribute effectively and participate actively in advocacy projects:
The first sucess indicator was the number of participants, the number of workshop and the interest of the students for the project, the second indicator the feedback forms for participant to evaluate the impact of the project, the quality of the training, the positive side and the negatives of the organization, and the third one was the assesment of the participants to assess their participation in advanced trainings and project.
*Our ultimate goal is to build capacity of ours members and educate students involved in medical education and aware of their role.
We are implementing the tarking sheets for each participant as a success indicator to evaluate ithiers involevment in the developement of the medical education system in our country.
Methodology:
To achieve our objectives, we are working on providing the opportunities to the participants to be involved in developing the education sysytem through local project in collaboration with the faculties, and advanced trainings in local level during the scome clubs (continous training happening in local level), in national level during scome sessions in the national GA and national trainings and in internationa level by provinding the trainings holding on in diffrent NMOs.

*The general evaluation of the project: organization, training, trainers..
*The follow up of each participant through the traking sheets: the impact of the training in their personal development, the meaningful involvement of the participant
*Medical students from passive students to active students involved in the changing process, .. their role in the development of our curriculum
*the acquisation of the skills necessary to be good communicators and a must have of eah medical students according their futur profession
