General description:

As a medical students and future physicians our main goal is to be a doctor which is fullfill educated ,aware of newest medical innovations and curious to learn new knowledges. In order to achive this goal we all will come across with researches. Unfourtunately some medical students have not the basic knowledge about research and some of them have not the oppourtunity learn them truely within their faculties. With Research Workshop we create an environment for all willing students to understand the what research is and how they can create their own researches, projects and how they can search them. With the interactive sessions we provide participants to create their own studies under supervision of renowed proffessors which differs our project in every other related conferences.

Research basics for medical practitioners

Problem statement:

As our world main issue is Global Health, we can share, and discuss our arguments with researchs. But unfortunately not every medical students have chance to learn how to researchs or even how to reach previous researches. When we fşrst come uop with this idea we noticed that some medical students don’t give any interesest this topic and students devolop bias of researches. With Research workshop we provide not only knowledge about Researchs but also an awareness about this medical education system. We aim to increase the interest and active participation of students to researches. And medical faculties to add the reseach programs or lectures to their education systems.

Target groups and beneficiaries:

We have organized our activity for 2 years. Our participants was only medical students. Our main target group is medical students. But with our previous feedbacks we are open to enlarge our target group in the future and select our participants in non-medical students group. But so far our main goal is to teach research basics to medical students.

Objectives and indicators of success:

Our Main objectives:
– Make an awareness between medical students and medical faculties, about scientific researches and their contributions in global health
– Teach Medical Students to Reseach Basics
– Create an environment for students to prepare their own research.
– Educate students about research desingns and types
– Break the bias of students about researchs and avoid shyness of students to be active in researchs
– Aproach Ethical Aspects of the researchs
After the evoulation of previous Research Workshops’ feedbacks we devoloped our program and preared specific topics for our objectives.

Methodology:

With Spesific sessions we will achive our objectives. And with pre /post tests and feedbacks of our activity we planned to preapare a report of our achivements.

Plans for evaluation:

All participants will take a pre-test before Research Workshop. After Intractive sessions all partisipants will take post-test. And we wiil take feedbacks from every participants and facilitators. Also we have spesific debate sessions after every interactive sessions of Research Workshop.
Within all this result we are planning to prepare a report and share it with all participants and NMO and also medical faculties. By sharing this report with medical faculties our aim is to offer them enroll this program in their education system.
