General description:

Improving service quality, interprofessional capabilities need to be improved, one of the way is through RECEPTOR. Pre-event : offline upgrading attended by members of CIMSA UNAIR. Main event : seminars&talk shows related to IPE, IPC, and SA hybrid attended by medstuds UNAIR, health sciences’s students UNAIR&for Post Event : offline&online Doctors National Day campaigns,our target for post event are UNAIR Faculty of Medicine’ s Lecturers and alumni of CIMSA.

Problem statement:

The role of interprofessional education and interprofessional collaboration is urgently needed in various aspects of life, especially in the health sector. But in reality, in health services there are often overlapping incidents in inter-professional service actions caused by a lack of communication between health workers. The solution is RECEPTOR to improve awareness and knowledge about Interprofessional Education (IPE), Interprofessional Collaboration (IPC), and Social Accountability (SA)

Objectives:

Through RECEPTOR, we aim to increase the knowledge, awareness, and skills members of CIMSA UNAIR, Airlangga University’s medical students, Airlangga University health sciences’s students with age range 17-21 years located in Surabaya about Interprofessional Education (IPE), Interprofessional Collaboration (IPC), and Social Accountability (SA) through activity for 23 days on October, consist of upgrading, seminar, talk show, and hybrid campaign with some success indicators measured by increasing of post test results in comparison to pre test results on at least 15% of total participants, engagement campaign, and participants of seminar and talk show.

Indicators of Success:

– The increase of post test results in comparison to pre test results on at least 15% of the total participants at upgrading pre – event

– At least 20 Airlangga University health sciences’s students with age range 17-21 years attend seminar and talk show

– At least 550 medical students of Faculty of Medicine Universitas Airlangga attend seminar and talk show

– The increase of post test results in comparison to pre test results on at least 15% of the total participants at main event

Methodology:

We conducted assessment first to determine a certain target activity. In pre – event we had upgrading for SCOME members about “Interprofessional Education (IPE)” and “Social Accountability (SA)”. Then, for main event we held offline seminar about Introduction To Social Accountability For Medical and Health Professionals that attending by Airlangga University’s medical students and Airlangga University health sciences’s students with age range 17-21 years located in Surabaya. We also held another hybrid seminar at the same day with topic Assessing Social Accountability in Medical Education. After that, we also held hybrid talk show about Diversity in Social Accountability Across The World. For post event, we did campaign to celebrate National Doctors Day, first with made a greeting card for all the doctors on each department in Faculty of Medicine Universitas Airlangga then sent it directly and also via email and whatsapp.

Plans for evaluation:

We evaluate this activity through through Pre-Test and Post-Test which is given via the Google Form link which is filled out before and after the event and using evaluation based on the number of engagement campaigns, the number of Faculty of Medicine Unair Lecturers and CIMSA UNAIR’s Alumni who received greeting cards on National Doctor’s Day.
