General description:

The vision of this project is a world where students practice the career of their dreams, and live a journey of being fulfilled and supported. Train physicians who promote global and inclusive health.
Its mission is to guide students and support them from the moment they enter medical school and throughout their career. It aims to help them make decisions about their career by learning about the opportunities and options available.

Problem statement:

Lack of supervision for medical students from the start of their course, and throughout it.
Failure to integrate students into the new world of medical studies.
Lack of access to information concerning the Moroccan and universal medical education system.
Global health issues: right to information.

Target groups:

  • Medical students
  • Healthcare Students

  • Medical students
  • Healthcare Students
  • Doctors
  • Other health professionals

target the majority of undergraduate students by the end of the term and introduce them to group study sessions
share with students in difficulty the comments and feedback from former students through the experience booklet
Introduce new members to capacity building sessions and ensure their participation in at least one tea with scome session
schedule the tea with scome activity in most LCs and plan a day to collect feedback from each student and each city

Indicators of Success:

to date, more than 100 students have participated in group study sessions with the involvement of around twenty around the start of the 2nd semester.
The booklet has been very successful, more than 200 students have downloaded it, and another 20 have reported that the tips mentioned have been very useful to them during the exam period.
Participation of 10 new members every week in TEA WITH SCOME, and their initiation to capacity building allowed them to validate their first semester modules without going to remedial
Organization of a session each week in each LC, an average of 5 to 6 sessions per week at the national level, for a duration of 2 months of work = 5 sessions multiplied by 6 weeks = 30 sessions

PLAN YOUR PATH was divided into 3 small activities: their programming was launched in parallel for all activities. At the very beginning, we started with the first meeting to initiate the members and explain the concept of the project to them, we also respected the opinions of the members by adding the studdy buddy which did not appear at the very beginning in our plan.
Then we launched a call for SWGs in order to develop the booklet and to have the maximum sharing of information.
We then continue with the trial session for the tea with scome, and we are also looking for trainers who could animate the sessions.
As the exams approach, we begin our first group study session and we begin to set up our organizational schedule for the 3 divisions of the activity at the rate of a weekly meeting for the progress of the booklet, a tea with scome session and a studdy buddy every 2 weeks.

Plans for evaluation:

During the evaluation, we based ourselves first on trial sessions with a minority and then we launch the activity.
Regarding the TEA WITH SCOME, we shared an evaluation form at the end of each session and we also scheduled a meeting between LOMEs from the different cities to discuss and evaluate each local experience separately.
This encouraged members to discover BC and to think about participating in MOROCAMP
Regarding the PLAN YOUR CAREER, the number of downloads was very sufficient for us as well as the number of views on our social networks, in addition to new students who have integrated perfectly following the recommendations of the booklet. Without forgetting the people in difficulty who have perfectly validated their first semester modules.
Regarding the STUDY BUDDY, since the idea was not ours but it was proposed by a member, we gave the freedom to the members to feel comfortable while assisting them with every step. and at each meeting.
