General description:
The maternal and child medicine workshop is an event that has established itself as one of the most prestigious in the region, for its responsibility and initiative to promote relevant topics for the physician in training and expert personnel in the area of health. Under the collaboration of the directives of the faculty and the follow-up of the specialists in the subject, providing an academic and strengthening space in general.

Problem statement:
Under the premise of addressing practical issues of importance to the general practitioner, we saw the need to convene an academic space in our region, to encourage and communicate topics of interest to the physician in training and expert health personnel under the collaboration of the directives of the faculty and experts of the subject in the pediatrics and gynecology branch, who from their beginnings have been hand in hand in the organization of the event.

Objectives and indicators of success:
Generate an academic space the development of new knowledge of students of
medicine, through the creation of strategies through the continuous dissemination of knowledge through experts in the area.
• Create an academic space, where professionals and specialists can transmit part of their knowledge, thus contributing to the training of the participants.
• Provide tools to the general practitioner for timely attention and management in different types of issues.
• Encourage the exchange of information and experiences among students of different associations.
Methodology:
Having a working team as Organizing Committee of the activity in addition to the collaboration of specialists in the area of gynecology and pediatrics, academic conferences will be held based on the theme. The mother and child medicine workshop has two guidelines, one initiated by specialists in the subject and another evaluated at the end of each session through an application that has a dynamic format for the development of the contest.
Plans for evaluation:
At the end of each day (morning and afternoon), a virtual trivia will be conducted with the purpose of encouraging greater attention and participation to the talks, where we will promote the healthy academic competitiveness of the attendees and where they will be able to challenge their own knowledge; the application used will be kahoot, so that this initiative aims to evaluate the reception of the lectures by the public. The highest scores will be awarded.
