Problem statement:
Our country is stil very late on donation, while the number of people suffering from chronic diseases is increasing, those people need more donors.
Another important issue is that most of healthcare professionals are not aware of the issue.
Target groups and beneficiaries:
Target group is medical students
secondary target group is the general population
beneficiaries are patients
Objectives and indicators of success:
Increase knowledge of medical students on donation and transplantation
indicator: improved knowledge of medical students assessed by pre and post course forms
Increase medical students consent to donation
indicator: number of students donating
Raise awareness of the general population on the importance of donation
indicator: number of reads and view in the articles about the event
Methodology:
the activity consists of breaking the world record of the largest anatomy lesson in the world by collecting more than 500 students in a course of 1 hour on the anatomical aspects of transplantation.
