Problem statement:
Children aged 7-18 years with disabilities who are not in school reach almost 140,000 people (UNICEF, 2020).
- Data from the 2018 National Economic Survey (SUSENAS) indicate that, in Indonesia, almost 3 out of 10 children with disabilities have never received an education.
- The unequal number of inclusive schools and competent educators in running an inclusive education system
- Lack of public knowledge and awareness regarding disability issues and inclusivity in the field of education

Objectives:
The IDPD x HRD 2021 campaign aims to help enforce the rights of persons with disabilities, especially in access to education by increasing awareness and knowledge of the Indonesian people, especially medical students, parents, and educators regarding inclusiveness in the education system through social media campaigns and public discussions, as well as presenting data about inclusiveness in the current education system. The campaign will be held between 20 November – 20 December 2021.
Indicators of Success:
- The minimum number of Instagram post publications during the campaign is 6 publications.
- The average number of impressions is 750 and likes 75 on Instagram post publications.
- The minimum number of Instagram story publications during the campaign is 10 publications
- The average number of impressions is 250 and reach 200 on Instagram story publications.
- Minimum number of participants for public discussion is 50
- The minimum number of locals holding training is 5.
- The minimum average score for local training post-test is 75%.
- The minimum number of locals carrying out IDPDxHRD activities is 5.
- Conducting pre-campaign assessment with a target of 100 respondents.
Methodology:
– We invite local SCORP to conduct a campaign and training with the theme “Disability & Inclusivity for All Aspect of The Education System” for SCORP members to increase awareness and knowledge regarding issues around persons with disabilities and inclusive education.
– We invite medical students, especially CIMSA members, to participate in compiling the campaign series through a special interest group (SIG).
– We invite the public and medical students to participate in public discussions on issues of persons with disabilities and inclusive education.
– We invite the public and SCORP members to help disseminate information about the rights of persons with disabilities, especially in access to education by participating in publishing a series of campaigns, consists: teasers, infographics, interactive content, Instagram challenges, twibbon, comic, and public service ads.
– We invite Human Rights Trainers and Human Rights Education Facilitators to be directly involved in capacity building
