General description:
A week of comprehensive activity in which each participant will choose his/her favorite specialty he want to get in future, he attends the department with a doctor, he will attend all sessions starting from post call, then consultation to surgeries during this week. This will help the participant to be more familiar with his/her preferable branches regarding all its aspects.
Focus area:
Surgical Skills, History Taking, Diagnostic measures, Clinical Examination, Doctor-Patient communication skills
Problem statement:
Lack of practical skills among medical students regarding how to deal with a patient in future.
Target groups and beneficiaries:
Medical students from clinical stage.
Objectives and indicators of success:
Encourage students to gain essential medical skills along with being oriented regarding their future responsibilities as a doctor. Active participation of the students through each session of the doctors along with the doctors being passionate to share their experience with the students.
Methodology:
Make doctors an active part of the project, for further collaboration and choosing the hospitals which fits the students the most.
Plans for evaluation:
Evaluation will be from a feedback form which will be send to each participant. Also doctors opinion and overall evaluation by the project management team.
