The International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA) is thrilled to announce that over the course of the past few months, several institutions and organizations have endorsed the Federations Research and Professional Exchange Programs.

Each year, IFMSA organizes over 13,000 exchanges for students in approximately 100 countries. Medical students are offered to choose between a clinical settings via the Standing Committee on Professional Exchanges (SCOPE) or a research settings via the Standing Committee on Research Exchanges (SCORE).

These are continuous new milestones for the Federation. IFMSA values the partnerships it has with health professionals organizations, and believes those are crucial to continuously increase the quality of the opportunities available for medical students.

World Federation of Medical Education (WFME): It was agreed that these exchange programmes remain very professionally organised and absolutely worthy of endorsement by WFME. They are commended to medical schools and medical faculties, world-wide.

World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA): WONCA believes [IFMSA Exchange Programme] affords students a chance to experience new health settings, with clear academic aims and objectives.

Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS): FENS values and fully supports the IFMSA research exchange programme, (SCORE) which provides medical students a chance to experience new research settings.

European Society for Emergency Medicine (EuSEM): EuSEM wishes you every success in developing your exchange programmes. We are delighted to endorse the SCOPE and SCORE exchange programmes.

World Federation of Societies of Anesthesiologists (WFSA): WFSA values our relationship with IFMSA and fully supports the IFMSA exchange programme, which offers students a chance to experience new health settings, with clear academic aims and objectives.

International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO): FIGO is happy to endorse the student exchange programmes managed by the International Federation of Medical Students Associations, as they contribute significantly to students understanding of global health issues.

International Pediatric Association (IPA): The International Pediatric Association wishes to affirm our strong support for the student exchange programs managed by the IFMSA […] This program contributes significantly to students understanding of global health issues.
