Problem statement:
In ethiopia there is a huge lack in blood donors and in our national blood supplies, also we have more diseases and accidents that are requiring blood and have LMOs with hospitals whic have catchment areas of 15 million people with no adequate blood.
Target groups and beneficiaries:

-The university stuffs
-The hospitals stuffs
-High school students
-The police force and police force
-Religious places
Beneficiaries are
-patients that will get the blood
-the hospitals for having more blood reisrvour and being able to treat there patients.
-The blood banks
Objectives and indicators of success:
1/ collect blood donations
indicators: the number of people that donated in the events threshold 1000 and doing so to reach as many people from differ walks of life and differnt aspect and organizations .
2/raise awareness of the general public on blood donation and to give out health information about the advantages of blood donation.
3/ have charity donations to help kids in an orphanage collecting stationary materials
indicator: the number of charity donations per number of kids helped.
Methodology:
It was initially started in february 2013 in a national campaign in which out the 13 LMOs we have in our country 10 of which are currently working on the event.
1/ it was initially started by contacting the national and the local blood bank and coming in to a come understanding to what we want to achieve and to what was feasible.
2/Then it was getting permission from the local authorities and officers ,for the permission to work in public places.
3/we collected a group of medical students who where volunteers and trained them on communications with people on the topic in hand.
4/we setup stands in public areas from university to shopping center religious centers and the local stadium.
Plans for evaluation:
-By counting the number of people who donated blood.
-By counting the number of people who got health information tips from our trained volunteers.
-By counting all the staionary materials collected over the week by the separating them by kind.
