Problem statement:
The number of dengue cases reported to WHO increased over 8 fold over the last two decades, from 505,430 cases in 2000, to over 2.4 million in 2010, and 5.2 million in 2019. Reported deaths between the year 2000 and 2015 increased from 960 to 4032.

Objectives:
- To provide easy-to-comprehend educational information on dengue to the general public, including its risk factors, prevalence, warning signs, prevention, transmission, and the situation in other countries by 15th April 2022
- To learn alternate ways to combat dengue from other countries and share the information with Malaysian participants by 15th April 2022
- To ensure knowledge increase in awareness among participants on the significance of dengue, and the severity of dengue by 15th April 2022
- To ensure good participant engagement by 9th April 2022.
Indicators of Success:
- At least 100 accounts reached and 50 content interactions for every Instagram post, reel and IGTV
- At least 100 accounts reached and 50 content interactions for Instagram reels and posts collaborating with other countries’ NPO
- 80% improvement in pre and post event assessment (IG quiz)
- 80% of targeted participants join the Instagram Live Stream from 2 to 3 P.M.
Methodology:
We will be posting 3 infographics, have an instagram live talk with Dr Antonia Ong En Ee, Posting instagram reels collaborating with Dr Antonia and also NPOs from other countries.
Plans for evaluation:
80% improvement on the pre and post event assessments (IG quiz)
