General description:
The project is divided into two parts:
1. Theoretical lecture
2. Clinical work
1. Theoretical lectures and exercises – where the presenters/clinical staff will present and repeat the acquired knowledge and techniques for obtaining blood samples, drug administration (intramuscular, subcutaneous, intravenous). Last year, practical exercises have passed 100 students at the Medical School in Tuzla.
2. Clinical Work – From 21 May 2018 to 21 June 2018, at the University Clinical Center in Tuzla, at the Polyclinic for Laboratory Diagnosis, would last four hours everyday. The students would participate actively in the work with the clinic staff on a daily basis; parenteral drug administration, obtaining blood samples for laboratory analyzes, etc.
Students will be divided into 10 groups.

Problem statement:
According to students, during their studies, they need to improve their practical skills including techniques for delivering drugs by parenteral administration, phlebotomy; obtaining blood samples, either via a venous stick or from a central line.

Acquired knowledge and improving practical medical skills.
Methodology:
Project ”Clinical Practice and Medical Skills” will include 50 students of Medicine, who will participate in two parts of project, during one month; theoretical and practical instructions, which will be held by medical staff of University Clinical Centar Tuzla.
Plans for evaluation:
Evaluation will include clinical staff and students, considering their assessment of program success.
