General description:

We need to understand how to deal with autism child and need to share and educate the autims child to be able to interact, socialize and accept the community and increase the knowledge of their parents and teachers how to deal with autism by giving about autism and discussion to their parents and teachers to improve the knowledge. on autism child are expected to interact with others, first approach done by the member after that interact with other autism child and tehy are invited to play educational games (coloring) and recognize the color. On the day, we evaluate by interview the children and their parents . and see the result of pre and post test for evaluation of the knowledge level

Children’s rights with emphasis on the right to health and access to healthcare services

Problem statement:

Negative stigma to the autistic person is still high in Pekanbaru city, so need to understand how to deal with people with autism and need to share and educate the autism person to be able to interact, socialize and accept the community and increase the knowledge of their parents how to deal with autism because in Indonesia many parents who do not know how to care for people with autism, even those in the nest or confined in a narrow room.

Target groups and beneficiaries:

SLB Negeri Pembina Pekanbaru is a formal education institution which serves education for children with special needs.The benefits are Increased knowledge of members, parents and teachers about people with autism. Increased awareness of members about autism child, autism children are able to interact with others, parents are better off dealing with their autism child. Teachers become more understanding about autism and better in educating and dealing with their autism students.

Objectives and indicators of success:

The project is held by giving about autism and discussion to their parents and teachers to improve the knowledge. In each place the activities were asked feedback about the material understanding and satisfaction of the activities that have been implemented. It is hoped for the autism child to be able to socialize with others and can increase the knowledge of parents and teachers about autism and how to respond. Indicator of success are 80% member know about autism and can increase awareness of autism child, 80% of parents and teachers can know about autism and become better at dealing with autism child and 70% of autism children are able to interact with others

Methodology:

By education, sharing and discussion with parents with autism by inviting a pediatrician and inviting an inspiring mom who find her child’s talent and the talent is an advantage that even normal people rarely and can make money.on autism child are expected to interact with others, first approach done by the member after can interact with both autistic people are invited to play educational games (coloring) and recognize the color.

Plans for evaluation:

On the day, we evaluate by interview the children and their parents . and see the result of pre and post test for evaluation of the knowledge level.
