Problem statement:
In December 2021, the Omicron variant of the coronavirus entered Indonesia. As of January 30, 2022, Indonesia is in 16th place with the most total COVID-19 cases worldwide with 4,343,185 cases. The Surakarta city turns out to be the top 2 highest cumulative incidents in Central Java as of January 23, 2022. And the 3rd highest death rate per 100,000 population in Central Java.

Objectives:
– Educate members of CIMSA Medical Faculty of Sebelas Maret University regarding Clean and Healthy Life Behavior and COVID-19 prevention by the end of the activity.
– The increase in the knowledge regarding Clean and Healthy Life Behavior and COVID-19 prevention by the end of pre-activity training on January 10th, 2022.
– Conducting an air campaign regarding Clean and Healthy Life Behavior and COVID-19 prevention on January 11th & 12th, 2022.
– Conducting education to students of Surakarta Ngoresan 80 Public Elementary School regarding Clean and Healthy Life Behavior and COVID-19 prevention on January 14th, 2022.
– The increase in the knowledge of students regarding Clean and Healthy Life Behavior and COVID-19 prevention by of the consultation on January 14th, 2022.
– Carry out advocacy and evaluation about their facilities in schools so they can be better prepared for the offline classes during this COVID-19 pandemic to stakeholders on January 22th, 2022.
Indicators of Success:
– Educate at least 20 members of CIMSA Medical Faculty of Sebelas Maret University regarding Clean and Healthy Life Behavior and COVID-19.
– The increase in the knowledge regarding Clean and Healthy Life Behavior and COVID-19 prevention from pre-activity training by 15% is calculated from pretest to posttest via Google forms.
– The air campaign about Clean and Healthy Life Behavior and COVID-19 prevention was performed by a minimum of 10 people counted by their presence through Google forms.
– Conducting education to at least 30 students of Surakarta Ngoresan 80 Public Elementary School regarding Clean and Healthy Life Behavior and COVID-19 prevention then calculated through the attendance list.
– An increase in the understanding of students at Surakarta Ngoresan 80 Public Elementary School by 10%, then calculated by increasing the pretest and posttest scores with a questionnaire.
– Successful Carryout advocacy and evaluation about their facilities in schools to stakeholders.
Methodology:
– On January 10, 2022, pre-activity training was held for members with the topic of Healthy Lifestyle with a Representative of the Indonesian Doctors Association in Surakarta as a trainer.
– On January 11-12 2022, an air campaign about COVID-19 and its preventive actions through daily habits.
– On January 14, 2022, counseling was implemented out in Surakarta Ngoresan 80 Public Elementary School regarding Clean and Healthy Life Behavior and COVID-19. The counseling was carried out in the form of a small group discussion. During the counseling at the elementary school, we also facilitated the SCOPH Tent, namely free blood pressure and blood sugar checks to teachers, school employees, and parents.
– On January 17-19 2022, we held a drawing competition with the theme “”Clean and Healthy Life Behavior in times of COVID-19″” as a follow-up method from this activity.
– On January 24, 2022, advocacy was done regarding Clean and Healthy Life Behavior in preventing COVID-19 to stakeholders.
Plans for evaluation:
– Provide pre-test and post-test in the form of Google forms to pre-activity training participants
– Provide pre-test and post-test to students at Surakarta Ngoresan 80 Public Elementary School before and after counseling.
– Using a questionnaire to assess the satisfaction of the participants in the extension.
External collaborations:
