In November 2019, the world gathered together to celebrate and make new commitments at the Nairobi Summit, the 25th anniversary of the International Conference on Population and Development. A quarter of a century ago, this iconic meeting for the first time in history concluded with an outcome of reproductive rights being human rights. Upon the occasion of Nairobi Summit, through the platform of Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health IFMSA was invited to take part in the development of series of articles on adolescents’ sexual and reproductive health and rights together with World Health Organisation Reproductive Health Research Department. As IFMSA representative, Liaison Officer for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Issues including HIV and AIDS Eglė Janušonytė participated in this project as one of the youth representatives, and thus IFMSA is featured as co-author in two of the anniversary publications and as a co-contributor in another journal.
