General description:
The UPTC has a budgeted week in the academic calendar, known as the week of research, whose purpose is to make events and related activities to the Academy and research organized by the undergraduate programs, for this purpose the University earmarks both as material logistic infrastructure resources and provide the best experiences.The proposal to make the 19th Convention national ASCEMCOL this planned for the days 3, 4 and 5 October 2019 on the premises of the Chamber of Commerce of Tunja with main theme of the Congress: internal medicine for the farm, dedicated to students from the first levels to those who are medical interns, ad portas of the farm; will also focus on topics of interest with health professionals to treat as base themes: or Cardiology Endocrinology or Pulmonology or Nephrology

Problem statement:
The social service for the students of the health sector in Colombia is a very important step in training and entry to professional life, where the recent graduate performs his practice pay for a year in an area of scarce resources and remote location of the big cities, assuming a challenge for the comprehensive patient care since it lacks specialists nor the appropriate equipment to carry their work fullness.

Objectives and indicators of success:
1. Generate a quick guide on how to act in situations during the year of social service
o The event promises to be an introduction with basic but effective steps to act in the best way in certain situations
o The subjects are of great interest and coincidence with the statistics of higher case index to evaluate
2. • Promote spaces of encounter, growth and strengthening for matters relevant standing committees and members of the Board of Directors of ASCEMCOL
o Through surveys and knowledge and satisfaction tests, the impact of these institutional strengthening activities will be measured during the event
o the spaces are effective for the infrastructure of the host University, as well as the tools of easy acquisition, with spaces arranged for all the participants
o The workshops are realistic insofar as they reveal a balance of what was done during the year of management with a report of all the good and bad done as well as an introduction to the new members
o the time allocated within the event will have a maximum duration of 6 hours during the 3 days, in which is a suitable time for the expected goal with the strengthening workshops
Methodology:
The XIX National Convention ASCEMCOL is planned for the days 3,4 and 5 of October 2019 in the facilities of the Chamber of Commerce of Tunja with the main theme of the congress: Internal Medicine for the rural, dedicated to students from the first levels to the who are internal doctors, ad portas del rural; It will also be focused on health professionals with topics of interest to be addressed as main issues: those related to the main pathologies in the population of the country, such as cardiology, endocrinology, pneumology, oncology, medical emergencies and issues of relevance to health workers.
1. presentations made by experts, focused on the theme of the congress with an hour of question time, divided into blocks of topics with president and moderator of the same
2. scientific competitions of research works, medical photography, multi-centric projects and other scientific samples
Plans for evaluation:
They will be evaluated through satisfaction surveys, before and after the event to evaluate each one of the indicators previously mentioned in the objectives, evaluating the impact of the activity on the participants, the region and the population
